For industrial furnaces and firing systems in the iron and steelindustries in the precious, nonferrous and light metal sector as wellas in the plastics, fibre and paper industries. Other fields ofapplication are thermal incineration installations, as well as driersand hot-air generators. The burners are used in combination with aburner quarl made from refractory concrete (e.g. in a forgingfurnace). Different flame shapes can be achieved by using burnerquarls with different geometries. The burner may be adapted to thesystem requirements using different burner lengths.
