PrimeFire 400 oxygen-fuel burner creates a fan-shaped flamegeometry. The burner mixes a portion of the combustion oxygenwith the fuel stream, causing gas cracking. This produces freecarbon particles that increase flame luminosity which improves theradiant heat transfer to the glass load. As a result, overall furnaceefficiency is improved, peak flame temperatures are reduced andNOX formation is lowered.
