Automatic burner control units
Automatic burner control unit IFD 258 ignites and monitorsdirectly ignited industrial gas burners of unlimited capacity. Asa result of its fully electronic design it reacts quickly to variousprocess requirements and is therefore also suitable for frequentcycling operation. It can be used for atmospheric burners orforced draught burners in multiple burner applications, where acentral control system is used for pre-purge and formonitoring. The burners may be modulating or stage-controlled. The automatic burner control is suitable foroperation in grounded and ungrounded systems. The programstatus and the level of the flame signal can be read directlyfrom the unit. The switch-off threshold can be set using apotentiometer. The behaviour in the event of flame failureduring operation can be selected using a switch. Either animmediate fault lock-out or a restart occurs
